Zukunft auf Leinwand. Methoden der Visualisierung und ihre Funktionen für Organisationen
摘要
This article of the journal “Gruppe. Interaktion. Organisation (GIO)” analyses the function of visualizations as a methodological design principle of organizational teamwork. Visualizations are currently used to support and systematize co-creative processes. In Design Thinking, working on and in front of canvases is supposed to enable the internalization of organizational environments, in Business Modeling it realizes the democratization of entrepreneurship, and in the application of the Operating System Canvas it is supposed to support the co-creative discussion of guidelines for collaborative work. This approach reveals a renewed visual turn in management theory and thus a shift in the use of visualizations: Using a theory-systematic analysis, the article shows that the use of visualizations changes from a control-affine mode of structural specifications to a methodical principle that makes co-creative processes a tool for organizational future. Organizational processes become visible on canvases and thus available and changeable as an object of common discussion.
