Simultaneous determination of dopamine and uric acid using electrochemical sensor based on ZIF- 8/CNTs/glassy carbon electrode
摘要
This study measures dopamine (DA) and uric acid (UA) using a ZIF- 8/CNTs/glassy carbon electrode (GCE). ZIF- 8/CNT nanocomposite improves electrochemical behavior of DA compared to bare electrode. Dopamine, a catecholamine, is linked to diseases like Parkinson’s and schizophrenia when its levels are unbalanced. The ZIF- 8/CNT nanocomposite enhances dopamine sensitivity by increasing the electrode’s surface area. Characterization of the nanocomposite was performed using scanning electron microscopy (SEM), energy dispersive X-ray (EDX), and X-ray diffraction (XRD). Electrochemical analysis of dopamine was conducted via cyclic voltammetry (CV) and differential pulse voltammetry (DPV), leading to a broad linear detection range of 0.1 to 400.0 μM and a low limit of detection at 0.04 μM. The sensor was also employed to monitor DA and UA levels in injection samples, achieving recovery rates of 97.1 to 101.1% for DA and 98.7 to 101.5% for UA. After 21 days, the ZIF- 8/CNTs/GCE electrode maintained approximately 90.7% of its initial anodic peak current (Ipa), indicating its stability over time.
