Monoklonale Gammopathie renaler Signifikanz (MGRS)
摘要
Monoclonal gammopathy of renal significance (MGRS) is a heterogeneous group of diseases in which there is a pathogenetic link between the detection of monoclonal gammopathy (MG) and renal damage. The damage can occur in various anatomical structures of the kidneys. Once the diagnosis has been confirmed, treatment of the underlying bone marrow disease is indicated in order to prevent further kidney damage. The correct pathological diagnosis of the type of MGRS is essential in order to establish the indications for treatment in a timely manner. This can delay or prevent the progression of renal insufficiency. The most common MGRS types are light-chain amyloidosis and monoclonal immunoglobulin deposition disease (MIDD); all other forms are extremely rare and treatment recommendations are based on small case series and expert opinions. The International Kidney and Monoclonal Gammopathy Group (IKMG) is working on guidelines and an international registry.
