<p>This study analyzes public attitudes and opinions regarding Ozempic on the X platform to understand the social dimensions of its off-label use. The research investigates how a drug, originally for diabetes treatment, has become a focus for weight loss, and the resulting public discourse. We analyzed a total of 3667 publicly available tweets from January to July 2025 using sentiment and thematic analysis. Key findings revealed diverse public sentiment and five overarching themes: weight loss and effectiveness; side effects and health concerns; media/celebrity influence and popularity; accessibility and cost issues; and ethical and usage debates. These findings suggest that social media reflects and is associated with public health challenges, underscoring the complexities in drug policy, supply, and regulation. The study’s results offer important insights for policymakers and healthcare professionals on managing the public perception and off-label use of drugs.</p>
