摘要

The stability and toxicity of lead are two major barriers to the commercialization of perovskite solar cells. For a better understanding of material properties, we present a computational analysis of the environmentally friendly tin perovskite FASnI3-based solar cell. In addition to the type and thickness of the electron selective layer (ESL), it is helpful to consider the absorber layer’s thickness and defect density. The results of the simulation led us to conclude that the ESL type significantly affects the device’s implementation. With the optimized parameters of the ITO/SnO2/FASnI3/PEDOT:PSS/Ag architecture, we have 33% efficiency, an open circuit voltage of 1.3V, a short circuit current density of 29.3 mA/cm2, and a fill factor of 87.2%. The findings imply that perovskite solar cells with FASnI3 and SnO2 have a bright prospect for the future.
