An Overview of Two-Dimensional Nanomaterial—MXene in Energy Storage and Sensing Application
摘要
Since MXene was discovered in 2011 by researchers at Drexel University, MXenes have continuously been among the greatest focal areas within the study of two-dimensional nanomaterials. MXenes are highly versatile, generating substantial interest in the fields of sensors, energy storage, environmental science, catalysis, biomedical applications, and electronics. This review is summarized in terms of MXene’s structural composition, synthesis, and applications. We also focus most on sensing and energy storage applications of MXenes. This review should motivate researchers to find out about the developing potential of MXenes, clarifying which to push forward and which not for realization in new applications for MXenes in scientific and technological domains.
