Investigation of Ultra-broadband Graphene-Based Multilayer Fe-AlN-Fe2O3 Surface Plasmon Resonance Solar Absorber Design for Renewable Energy Applications
摘要
The research on solar absorbers plays a crucial role in the solar system’s performance. Different types of solar absorbers can be created based on the materials used in their layers. Additionally, incorporating graphene is essential for enhancing absorption efficiency. The current resonator design is formed by combining three square blocks and two cylinders. It uses iron material (for the resonance design) with aluminum nitride (as the substrate), while iron oxide is incorporated as the base layer in the design to optimize performance and functionality using the Finite Element Method. Depending on the bandwidth, the radiation efficiency develops absorptance above 99% for 500 nm, over 95% by 1500 nm, and exceeds 90% for 2800 nm. With the perfect absorptance efficiency of the ultra-broadband type, the current structure can be studied in whole solar spectral region. Some thermal applications of boiler feed, the agricultural sector, and the process industry can be performed by the current ultra-broadband absorber.
