摘要

In this manuscript, tunability of plasmon mode in LiF-loaded heterostructure is analyzed in THz frequency regime. Detailed parametric investigations are conducted to explore the influence of chemical potential, relaxation time, collisional frequency, plasma frequency, and LiF thickness on the propagation characteristics of plasmon mode. Through detailed numerical analysis, it is concluded that the physical properties of graphene, homogeneous plasma, and LiF film play a crucial role to tune the different characteristics of electromagnetic surface wave, i.e., effective mode index, wave frequency, and attenuation for the proposed waveguide structure. This research work offers new insights into the design and optimization of photonic and plasmonic devices and provides an additional degree of freedom to control electromagnetic surface wave.
