SARS-CoV-2 Detection Using Black Phosphorus-MXene-Black Phosphorus Heterostructure Surface Plasmon Resonance Biosensor

The surface plasmon resonance (SPR) sensor was proposed by using MXene-mediated heterostructure (BP-MXene-BP) for the detection of SARS-CoV-2. Analysing the performance of a heterostructure-based SPR biosensor at the optimal thickness of the Ag layer. The suggested biosensor achieves a sensitivity of 295.67°/RIU with an impressive 0.147/° detection accuracy (DA) and a 48.47/RIU figure of merit (FoM) at minimum reflectance (Rmin).
