Coherent Control of Angular Interrogation of Sensitivity of the Surface Plasmon Polariton Waves at the Interface of Metal and Dielectric Medium

摘要

The sensitivity of the surface plasmon polariton waves (SPPs) is theoretically investigated and modified at the interface of four-level dielectric medium and silver metal using angular interrogation. The angular interrogation of sensitivity of the SPPs with respect to refractive index is given as \(d\theta /dn_d\) d θ / d n d . A useful control in sensitivity with system and driving field parameters is reported. The sensitivity is oscillation function of probe field detuning and control fields Rabi frequency. The maximum and minimum sensitivities of SPPs are investigated to be 2000 deg/RIU and 150 deg/RIU with probe field detuning and control fields Rabi frequency. The modified result of sensitivity of this manuscript shows useful applications in biosensor and nano-photonic devices, data storage, waveguiding and solar cells.
