<p>Archaeological research at the Sungai Batu Archaeological Complex (SBAC) until 2025 has been able to identify the architecture of the ancient Kedah Kingdom port management that was built in the 5th Century BC at the SB2G site. Bricks are the primary building material. For the purpose of collecting primary data for the study, the processes of survey, mapping, and excavation were carried out. The results of the excavation revealed the most complete port management architectural structure built at the back of the river jetties. SBAC identifies the monument as a horizontal structure with multiple administrative spaces.</p>
