Glukosemessung in der Diabetestherapie
摘要
Various glucose measurement systems are now available for diabetes diagnostics and therapy. Regular glucose measurements are carried out by medical professionals using laboratory and point-of-care testing (POCT) blood glucose measurement systems as well as by people with diabetes themselves using self-monitoring of blood glucose (SMBG) and continuous glucose monitoring (CGM) systems. Reliable measurement results are crucial for correct diagnosis and optimal diabetes therapy. People with intensified insulin therapy now largely use CGM systems. SMBG systems are still frequently used for other forms of therapy and diabetes. The systems differ in their handling and purpose and are subject to different quality control specifications. While systems used by healthcare professionals are subject to the quality requirements of the Rili-BÄK (guidelines of the German Medical Association) and the measurement accuracy is therefore regularly checked, SMBG systems are supposed to meet the specified quality criteria of DIN EN ISO 15197:2015 (DIN: Deutsches Institut für Normung, EN: European Norm, ISO: International Organization for Standardization). To date, there exists neither a binding ISO/DIN standard nor quality specifications for CGM systems.
