Management dermatologischer Symptome
摘要
Diabetes mellitus and associated skin changes are common. Among people who develop diabetes, 30% develop skin diseases or skin involvement. Symptoms are often noticeable before the diagnosis is made and these symptoms are one of the first indications of the diagnosis of diabetes mellitus. The causes are heterogeneous; furthermore, pathological changes such as angiopathies and/or neuropathies also play a role. Skin changes are divided into four categories: skin changes due to diabetes mellitus, infections, secondary effects due to complications or other comorbidities and skin changes due to the treatment or diagnostic procedures for diabetes. Noninfectious skin reactions are common such as xerosis, pruritus, but also skin infections such as mycoses or bacterial infections. If the diabetes is well controlled, the symptoms decrease or they cease completely. Topicals are mainly used to support a beneficial course.
