Aktuelles zur Ernährungstherapie bei Adipositas

  • L. Selig

摘要

Nutritional therapy for people who are overweight or obese is complex. While the main goal of obesity therapy is weight loss, improved health status with subsequent weight stabilization, patients are overwhelmed by challenging situations in everyday life. Patient-centered therapy goals must therefore be set individually and discussed with patients. Even if there are some scientifically proven nutritional strategies for weight loss, these do not necessarily fit every patient. Rather, people who are obese or overweight need to be involved into the treatment according to their current eating habits and life circumstances. To ensure a standardized and structured approach, dietetics uses the German Nutrition Care Process. This process visualizes and identifies the thought and action steps of nutritionists when designing nutritional therapy interventions. Nutrition therapy has the task of making patients competent to act.
