<p>According to the cosmological fine-tuning argument, our universe was created by a fine-tuner who desires a life-permitting universe. In what follows, I assume the soundness of the cosmological fine-tuning argument and go on to show that the fine-tuning argument provides good reason to believe the creator of the universe is not omnipotent. This requires analysis of the logic of fine tuning itself, an analysis that does not appear anywhere in the current literature. Both the conclusion that the creator is not omnipotent and the implications of the logic of fine tuning for the debate will be of considerable significance to those who endorse the cosmological fine-tuning argument.</p>
