Ösophageale Motilitätsstörungen
摘要
Esophageal motility disorders can occur at any age. The leading symptoms are dysphagia, regurgitation, and thoracic pain. Careful patient history followed by a selection of specific diagnostic examinations leads to reliable diagnosis and enables corresponding treatment. High-resolution manometry (HRM), video cinematography, endoluminal functional lumen imaging probe (EndoFlip), and 24-hour esophageal manometry (also in combination with impedance measurement) enable further differentiation of hyper- and hypocontractile dysfunction. This article provides an overview of diagnostic tools, disease manifestation, and treatment options in esophageal motility disorders.
