Mesenchymale Tumoren im Gastrointestinaltrakt
摘要
Mesenchymal tumors of the gastrointestinal tract are by far less frequent than epithelial neoplasms. The most frequent are gastrointestinal stromal tumors which have to be differentiated from numerous other types of tumors, covering most lines of lineage differentiation according to the current World Health Organization (WHO) classification for soft tissue tumors from 2020. Among them are myogenic, neurogenic, vascular, pericytic, adipocytic and translocation-associated neoplasms, some of which are not yet included in the WHO classification due to their recent description. The following review gives an overview covering the most relevant entities and includes relevant diagnostic approaches.
