摘要

In the manufacturing industry, robotics technology has advanced quality and efficiency in mass production and now enters an inflection point to turn into a small quantity batch production. There is an increasing demand for safe and rich human-robot interaction (HRI) in a shared workspace. The European Robotics Challenges (EuRoC) research project has launched industry-relevant challenges to exploit synergies among all the actors of the value chain in manufacturing and servicing. Especially the Challenge 2, named Shop Floor Logistics and Manipulation, addresses Logistics and Robotic Co-workers scenarios of the SRA2009. The main objective of this work is to provide a safe and rich HRI without compromising safety issues in a realistic industrial context. The HRI system integrates several cognitive functionalities such as HRI, safety reasoning, and resource management. The proposed system has been successfully demonstrated keeping safety during EuRoC evaluations for the Pilot Experiments stage with a real mobile manipulator.
