<p>This study examines how academic entrepreneurs can effectively navigate and leverage entrepreneurial networks to enhance their entrepreneurial behaviors. Using the Theory of Planned Behavior (TPB), the research investigates how attitude, subjective norms, and perceived behavioral control influence academic entrepreneurs’ decision-making and actions. Data were collected through a two-stage survey of 420 scientists, and the Partial Least Squares-Structural Equation Modeling (PLS-SEM) method was employed to test the hypothesized relationships derived from the conceptual model. The results show that entrepreneurial networks significantly influence scientists’ academic entrepreneurial intentions. Additionally, the TPB components (attitude, subjective norms, and perceived behavioral control) serve as mediators between entrepreneurial networks and academic entrepreneurial intentions. Furthermore, academic entrepreneurial intentions were found to predict academic entrepreneurial behaviors. These findings emphasize the importance of connecting entrepreneurial networks with academic entrepreneurship, offering valuable insights for fostering innovation, creating collaboration opportunities, and driving the growth of academic ventures. This research contributes to both academic knowledge and practical strategies for supporting entrepreneurial initiatives in research-driven environments.</p>
