摘要

In logistics, the outlook for adopting cobots is optimistic and indicates exponential growth in the coming years. Using the Antecedents, Decisions, and Outcomes (ADO) method as an organisational framework and the SPAR-4-SLR Protocol, this article explores how the application of cobots integrated with autonomous and digital technologies influences changes and impacts logistics operations. A review of articles published from 1996 to 2024 was conducted to establish a logical understanding of the applications of cobots and the potential consequences of their use in logistics. A structure based on categories was organised to understand this effect and the reasons that influenced the adoption of this equipment, and to infer the possible impacts and changes. With the analysis carried out, the study updates the understanding. It summarises the literary view on this topic, highlights the importance of this equipment for logistics, and points out possible consequences and transformations to which companies will be subject. Adopting these devices will not only impact productivity, costs, and safety but also affect the warehouse automation and robotics markets, autonomous vehicles, and dedicated software. Their use will continue to evolve in e-commerce, influencing logistics practices in other segments. They are expected to change how we work, requiring new management perspectives and impacting employment, professionals, and current roles in logistics.
