Detecting, visualizing, and analyzing trends and patterns in university-based entrepreneurial ecosystem literature
摘要
In recent decades, entrepreneurship and innovation have emerged as primary drivers of economic development and employment generation. Universities play a significant role in nurturing entrepreneurs and disseminating entrepreneurial culture, while also providing diverse resources and capabilities to support entrepreneurial endeavors. The selection of the university-based entrepreneurial ecosystem (UBEE) as the focal point of this study underscores its strategic and scholarly importance, emphasizing the pivotal role universities play in promoting entrepreneurship and innovation. The fundamental goal of this research is to evaluate the research topics of significant nations, institutions, and authors in the UBEE research using CiteSpace software and the Web of Science dataset. The cooperation network and cooperative contents among them are also studied in more detail in this article. Finding the authors, institutions, and nations with the most influence may also be done using the study of the frequency of citations. Author keyword frequency analysis and co-occurrence analysis are used to investigate the most popular themes right now and forecast where development will go in the future. This study provides a useful perspective for the related researchers who intend to do further research on the entrepreneurial ecosystem at universities.
