Flexible Substrate Material-Based Electronically Reconfigurable Antenna for Sub-6 GHz Wireless Communication Systems

Flexible substrate materials have surfaced as a viable solution for the fabrication of electronically reconfigurable antennas where compactness and versatility are of paramount importance. This study is centred on the deployment of an electronically reconfigurable antenna that utilizes a flexible polyimide substrate material, specifically customized for sub-6 GHz wireless communication systems. The proposed antenna operates at triple band with two narrow bands and one wideband. The current antenna holds significant importance in contemporary communication infrastructures, encompassing applications such as Fixed mobile, radio navigation, satellite communication, and wireless sensor networks, owing to its ability to efficiently optimize spectrum utilization and enhance connectivity.
