摘要

The spearhead-shaped four-port Multiple Input Multiple Output (MIMO) antenna has been proposed for a wide band. Initially, A Single element is a form of spearhead shape element connected with a microstrip feed line and a partial ground structure. Further, a two-port MIMO configuration is designed by two single elements are arranged in parallel orientation with T stub to provide a wide band and good isolation between ports. In order to generate a low value of mutual coupling and better isolation with high gain, a four-element MIMO configuration has been proposed. It consists of four orthogonally placed single-element antennas, a partial ground structure, and a T-shaped element at below the substrate. It provides a wide bandwidth of 81.08% covering a frequency band from 2.22 to 5.2 GHz, having a center frequency of 3.7 GHz. The reported MIMO structure has an isolation of >20 dB and a total gain >4 dB. The proposed MIMO configuration provides better diversity performance. Covers a variety of wireless applications, such as 5G NR (Fifth Generation New Radio), Wi-Fi 6 (Wireless Fidelity sixth generation), medical, and IoT (the Internet of Things). The MIMO antenna’s functionality has been examined and contrasted against the performance of the manufactured prototype.
