Estimation of Power Density in mm-wave Phased Array Antenna for 5G Cellular Handset

  • A. Gokulachandar

摘要

A mm-wave phased array antenna used in mobile devices for 5G wireless communication provides better data transmission than 4G networks due to the fast expansion of 5G radio frequency technology. The frequency spectrum limit is specified in brief in a number of standard organizations. The EMF [Electromagnetic Field] exposure of radio frequency in millimeter-wave bandwidth frequency range of 10 GHz to 200 GHz evaluates the power density in free space and takes into account the impact of electromagnetic field exposure in the region of frequency, distance, and different phase shift angle instead of using the SAR (Specific Absorption Rate) value. The digital architecture of the beam shape and the impact of beam steering on power density are covered in this study by the phase array antenna. The suggested array antenna's bandwidth frequency of 28 GHz is acknowledged as a potential spectrum for determining the power density attribute. Include a comparison of the various array antenna element configurations as well. This article presents the simulation results based on the theoretical and numerical explanation of phased array antenna.
