Jeans Substrate Based Circularly Polarized Wearable Dielectric Resonator Antenna
摘要
In this paper, circularly polarized rectangular dielectric resonator antenna (RDRA) is proposed for Wearable applications. Jeans material has been used as substrate. Microstrip lines have been used to feed the circuit. The proposed structure has return loss less than − 10dB, Axial ratio of less than 3dB, which indicates that the antenna is circularly polarized. The proposed antenna is offering a gain of 9 dBi. A prototype antenna has been created and experimentally tested. The simulated findings and the measured results agree fairly well. In the introduction part of this paper, we have also discussed about what is DRA, need for DRA, fundamentals of DRA, feeding mechanism in DRA and Analysis of DRA for wearable applications.
