A comprehensive review of different antennas for IoT applications

摘要

The antenna is compact and inexpensive to be used in IoT settings. The antennas enable a flexible design across a wide range of wireless frequencies. In this study, we survey several functional antenna designs in an IoT setting. The Internet of Things (IoT) is a new technology that intends to connect all of the products currently on the market into one unified network. Antennas are crucial to wireless technologies and, by extension, the Internet of Things. The goal is to possess antennas that are optimized for Internet of Things use in terms of operating frequency, gain, radiation pattern, and sensitivity. When designing the antenna, it’s essential to consider how IoT will expand in the following years and how that will call for additional functionality. In the first section of this article, we discuss the significance of antenna layout in the Internet of Things. Finally, we show how to construct an efficient antenna for the Internet of Things by comparing many different antennas.
