<p>This study provides data on the current levels of persistent organic pollutants (POPs) in soft tissues of bivalves from Peter the Great Bay, Sea of Japan, and results of a comparative analysis of data reported by other authors for the Asia–Pacific region. The data obtained showed the presence of persistent organic pollutants in all soft tissue samples within a range from 0.6 to 2,769.7&#xa0;ng/g lipid weight. Comparative analysis of POP levels in bivalve mollusks demonstrated lower concentrations in Russia compared to other Asia–Pacific countries.</p>
