Syndactyly in domestic feline (Felis catus). Case report
摘要
In this case report, we describe the clinical case of a domestic cat diagnosed with complex syndactyly. A feline, aged approximately eight months, with an unknown family history, was referred with deformities in both forelimbs. Clinical examination revealed no abnormalities other than her phalanges. Radiographic imaging of the carpus and digits was obtained in both the dorso-palmar and lateral projections, using different X-ray equipment. A diagnosis of complex and complete syndactyly was rendered. This report could be useful to augment the few existing reports on this type of congenital disease.
