<p>This study aimed to evaluate the effects of various lipid sources in the diet of growing rabbits, with a focus on meat quality. Eighty New Zealand White rabbits, both male and female, aged 35 days with an average weight of 940 ± 46 (g), were randomly assigned to five treatments with sixteen replications, each consisting of one animal per experimental unit. The experimental diets consisted of commercial feed (CD) supplemented with 60&#xa0;g/kg soybean oil, corn oil, canola oil, sunflower oil, or no oil. The data were subjected to variance analysis, and the means were compared via Tukey’s test at the 5% significance level. The results revealed that corn oil supplementation significantly reduced feed intake from 35 to 100 days of age and 70–100 days of age. Resulted in greater apparent digestibility (<i>P</i> &lt; 0.001) of dry matter (88.56%), crude protein (92.43%), ash (83.95%), and crude fiber (76.31%) compared with the control. Additionally, it was the only treatment that significantly improved ether extract digestibility (<i>P</i> &lt; 0.030), reaching 95.26%. The inclusion of lipid sources, especially corn and canola oils, resulted in improved carcass yield and increased abdominal fat deposition, hindlimb weight, and intestine length. The meat quality parameters significantly differed, with lipid sources causing greater cooking loss, whereas the control treatment resulted in greater water retention capacity. However, no significant difference (<i>P</i> &gt; 0.05) was observed in alanine aminotransferase (ALT) values with the inclusion of lipid sources in the diet of growing rabbits. AST activity was higher in the canola oil group (61.31 U/L) compared to sunflower oil (53.06 U/L) and the control (53.05 U/L; <i>P</i> &lt; 0.05), although all values remained within the normal range (13.0–184 U/L). Canola and corn oil at 60&#xa0;g/kg of feed improve nutrient digestibility in rabbits raised in hot climates, making lipid inclusion a relevant strategy. Additionally, lipid sources reduce metabolic heat during digestion, helping to alleviate heat stress.</p>
