摘要

High-precision localization, as a critical issue in sensing, shows great potential needs in the emerging 6G application scenarios such as internet of vehicles (IoV), augmented reality (AR), virtual reality (VR), unmanned aerial vehicle (UAV) communications, etc. The reconfigurable intelligent surfaces (RISs) is a set of intelligent relay nodes, which connect to large-scale communication paths. The RISs can detect the reference local information and provide higher accuracy of localization. Multi-user localization enables multiple users to be located simultaneously, reducing overall time delay. Therefore, in this paper, we propose the high-precision multi-user localization schemes for RISs-aided multi-user systems. Under the dynamic wireless commutation system, the operations of the RISs require the multi-user localization algorithm and the optimal channel parameters estimation scheme. When employing an extra-large scale scenario for localization, mobile multi-users are in the free space field of the RISs and the channel shows spatial non-stationarity, making the problem more complicated. These challenges are addressed by the proposed novel joint multi-user localization and channel estimation scheme for the massive RISs-aided multi-user systems. This paper studies the integration of communication transmission receiver and multi-user localization system, and discuss how to design the high-efficiency localization scheme through RIS control and the optimal channel estimator. Simulation results show that our proposed solution has a significant improvement in localization accuracy compared to the existing schemes.
