<p>In this paper I support epistemic norms formulated by utilizing ‘being in a position to know’ against recent detractors. To do so, I employ a pragmatically-informed contextualism for knowledge and deny that obligations for belief agglomerate. Positive epistemic norms are then vindicated.</p>
