摘要

Using a complex cycle stress limit diagram, two methods of choosing non-damaging modes of the vibration treatment of elements of welded metallic structures are proposed to effectively reduce residual stresses without the danger of fatigue damage at the stage of technological processing. The main difference between them is that the second method allows for reducing the residual stresses by a predetermined value. The basis of this method is the relationship between the quantitative reduction of residual stresses and the amount of accumulated plastic strain. A method for determining cycle stress limit diagrams of welded joints with steady-state residual stresses is proposed from the results of tests of small-sized specimens without residual stresses. The method was evaluated by examining welded specimens made of 09G2 steel and 20 steel, box-section beams made of 20 steel, St3 steel plates with longitudinal weld deposit, and 20GFL steel end plates of the connecting beam of an eightaxle tank car.
