Sense of belonging, risk factors, and resilience in multiracial college students

As more multiracial students enter college, it is important to examine the sense of belonging these students experience at Predominantly White Institutions (PWIs), as sense of belonging is associated with academic engagement, success, and persistence. The current study sought to assess sense of belonging and everyday discrimination in multiracial students at a PWI and to examine whether risk and resilience factors associated with multiracial identity are associated with two dimensions of sense of belonging.
