<p>A method is proposed for reconstructing the compression curve over a wide range of effective stresses based on approximating the dependence of the compression index on effective stress using an asymmetric logistic function. The scheme for estimating compressibility proposed by J. V. Burland is used, with a correction of the reference values of the porosity coefficient. A typical example of a comprehensive reconstruction of the compressibility profile of a weak clayey soil is presented; the parameters of the natural structure are determined, and the necessary verifications are performed. The method opens up the possibility of wide practical application (in particular, for weak clayey soils) of anisotropic models of soil media that account for the disruption of the initial natural structure during deformation.</p>
