On the Thermal Conductivity and Specific Heat of Diesel-Contaminated Clay
摘要
Thermal conductivity (λ) and specific heat (C) are fundamental parameters used in the analysis of thermal transfer and the temperature field of soils. The relationships between thermal parameters, saturation, and dry density in contaminated soil containing immiscible liquids are more complex than those in conventional soils. A series of tests were conducted to investigate the λ and C of diesel-contaminated clay. We analyzed the relationship between thermal parameters and the proportion of immiscible liquids contained in contaminated soil and the relationships between thermal parameters, saturation, and dry density. On this basis, the applicability of eight λ models to the diesel-contaminated soil was evaluated.
