<p>The present paper considers the issues of determining the critical void ratio of sandy soil for assessing the stability of soil structures. Experimental studies were conducted in a triaxial cubic tester under plane strain conditions. The results of the studies were used to draw conclusions and recommendations for calculating stability.</p>
