摘要

Drs. Oliva and Cassas assert in their paper that the magmatic bodies I dated using biostratigraphic methods are intrusions. However, magmatic materials are actually volcanic products, not intrusions. The dating of volcanic bodies was done indirectly; I dated the pre- and post-volcanic sediments, and then inferred the age of the volcanic bodies based on those dates. This method cannot be applied to intrusive bodies.
