Generalized g-index

  • Marek Kosmulski

摘要

The generalized g-index g(n) is the highest number of publications of a scientist, which have together at least gn citations. In this convention the original g index is a g(2) index. The high values of n favor the scientists who have a few highly cited papers with respect to those who have numerous moderately cited papers.
