Electrophysical microwave properties of thermoplastic carbonyl-iron based composites for application in FDM 3D printing
摘要
In this work, thermoplastic polyurethane (TPU)/carbonyl iron powder (CIP) composites with varying CIP content prepared by the melt-mixing process are used for fused deposition modeling (FDM) 3D printing. The electrophysical parameters of the TPU/CIP composites are measured within a frequency range of 50 MHz to 18 GHz. Based on the data on the electrophysical properties, the transmission, reflection, and absorption coefficients of a TPU/CIP layer and the return loss of the TPU/CIP layer on metal are calculated.
