摘要

Osteosarcoma is considered as one of the most aggressive types of cancer, capable of actively developing secondary tumors. Recent studies have shown that even relatively small values of biological fluid pressure, exceeding 20 kPa, can lead to a healthy cell migration. In this work, a numerical study is carried out at mesoscale to examine the influence of mechanical stimulation on bone tissue affected by neoplastic processes with the aim of regenerating skeletal tissue and deactivating cancerous areas. The modeling is performed using the method of movable cellular automata. The computer simulations show that the conditions for the transfer of healthy bone cell and delivery of medications to malignant tissues are created by a shock wave with an intensity higher than 0.1 mJ/mm2.
