Influence of focused ultrasonic waves on temperature inhomogeneities of air
摘要
The results of a study of the influence of standing ultrasonic waves in air, formed by two counter-directed focused arrays of emitters, on temperature inhomogeneities of air are presented. A numerical modeling of the heat and mass transfer is performed using the Navier-Stokes equations for an air environment with temperature inhomogeneities under the influence of ultrasonic waves. The experimental results for ultrasonic waves at a frequency of 41 kHz are presented. It is shown that the region of increased temperature is displaced from the focusing region of the ultrasonic field, and the region of low temperature is drawn into this region. The results can be used in the development of ultrasonic cooling systems.
