On a State Transfer Mediated by a Central Spin Model

摘要

Crafting a model possessing high-fidelity state transfer is one of the important topics discussed in the literature because of its wide applications. In this paper, we study a state transfer problem in a central spin model in the presence of external classical modulations to address some aspects of the Epstein effect. Experimental studies behind the Epstein effect demonstrate that a classical modulation/vibration can cause state transfer in a system that was previously thought to be impossible. This is another demonstration of a nontrivial impact of the classical world on the quantum one to be understood yet and our work is a step toward it. Indeed, performed numerical analysis demonstrates that central spin models can be used to obtain high-fidelity state transfer caused mainly by external classical modulations.
