Extraction, characterization, and carboxymethylation of hemicelluloses from the lignopolysaccharide complex of spruce wood greenery
摘要
The study addresses extraction, composition, structure, and modification of hemicelluloses of the lignopolysaccharide residue from spruce wood greenery after the extraction of biologically active low-molecular components. Polysaccharides were isolated by the alkaline method either with or without preliminary delignification of the lignopolysaccharide complex. The GLC method was used to qualitatively and quantitatively determine neutral monosaccharides present in two types of hemicelluloses. The hemicelluloses were O-alkylated with monochloroacetic acid. The molecular structure, microstructure, and properties of hemicelluloses and their carboxymethyl derivatives were characterized using IR spectroscopy, scanning electron microscopy, and physicochemical analysis.
