Layered magnesium silicate modified by dimeric chlorin e6 derivatives with different spacer lengths between macrocycles
摘要
Layered magnesium silicates modified by dimeric chlorin e6 derivatives with different spacer lengths between the macrocycles have been synthesized for the first time. In the modified magnesium silicates, dimeric chlorin e6 derivatives exist as individual molecules regardless of the spacer length. It was found that binding to the layered magnesium silicate resulted in a partial protonation of the chlorin macrocycles due to the interaction with proton-donating OH groups of the silicate, which is confirmed by the corresponding changes in the absorption and emission spectra.
