摘要

The cryogenic treatment of DMSO solutions of mixtures of poly(vinyl alcohol) (PVA) and poly-3-hydroxybutyric acid (PHB) yielded complex cryogels, the subsequent replacement of the organic medium for water in which led to the coagulation of PHB with the formation of dispersed polymeric particles entrapped as a filler in the matrix of the composite cryogel. The particles are capable of reversibly sorbing drug molecules, in particular, sodium salt of ibuprofen used as a model agent.
