Features of cationic polymerization of oxiranes in ethers
摘要
The cationic polymerization of epichlorohydrin (ECH) and allyl glycidyl ether (AGE) in a medium of diethyl ether and 1,5-dichloro-3-oxapentane was studied. The oligoethers with a narrow molecular weight distribution were synthesized. In all cases, the major reaction product is oligoether with terminal alkyl groups: glyme, the yield of which ranges from 90% and higher for oligomers based on ECH and to ∼70% for AGE-based oligomers.
