Thermodynamic study of iron antimonides by electromotive force measurements
摘要
Thermodynamic properties of iron antimonides were investigated by measuring the electromotive force with a liquid electrolyte in the temperature range of 298–423 K. The measurements were performed using equilibrium samples taken from the two-phase regions FeSb2 + Sb and FeSb + FeSb2 of the system Fe—Sb. The phase composition of all the samples was monitored using powder X-ray diffraction. The partial molar functions of iron in alloys, as well as the standard thermodynamic functions of formation and the standard entropies of compounds FeSb and FeSb2 were calculated. A comparative analysis of the obtained results and those found in published works was carried out.
