摘要

The specific features of the synthesis of homo- and copolymers of stearyl methacrylate using a catalytic system based on copper(i) bromide and nitrogen-containing ligands with various structures, as well as bromine-containing initiators, were studied. The determined regularities of (co)polymerization, including a nearly linear dependence of the number-average molecular weight of polymers on conversion, as well as good agreement between the calculated and experimentally determined molecular weight of polymers in combination with low polydispersion index values characterizing the obtained samples, indicate that polymerization has a controlled nature. The synthesized homo- and copolymers have a considerable effect on the low-temperature properties of diesel fuel, simultaneously reducing the cloud point and pour point, as well as the cold filter plugging point of diesel fuel.
