Common and Distinctive Features of the Methods for Stabilizing the Frequency of a Self-Oscillator by an External Signal and by a Reflected Wave
摘要
We consider stabilization of the self-oscillator frequency by a relatively weak external signal or a wave reflected from a resonant or nonresonant load. Similarities and differences between the methods are analyzed along with the advantages of each of them. The results were obtained analytically for the Van der Pol oscillator, and the simulation was performed for a 170 GHz gyrotron with megawatt-level power.
