Features of Sum-Frequency Generation in the Saturation Regime by Broadband Laser Pulses with Opposite Frequency Chirps
摘要
We examine the features of second-harmonic generation (eo–e and oe–o phase matching) and third-harmonic generation (oo–e phase matching) by laser pulses with opposite frequency chirps in the saturation regime, based on numerical simulations. The influence of the material dispersion of the crystal, spectral phase mismatch, and spatial drift on the conversion efficiency and the preservation of the pulse shape at the sum frequency is investigated.
